The Théâtre national Daniel Sorano is a theater located on Boulevard de la République. The theater was inaugurated 5 years after Senegal?s independence by President Leopold Sédar Senghor. It bears the name of the French-Senegalese actor Daniel Sorano. The hall can seat over 1,000 people, and features ballet and other theatrical productions.
Six minutes from the Théâtre Daniel Sorano, this pier is the starting point for a visit to Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
